I announced my goals and resolutions for 2022 in an earlier post. One of the goals mentioned was pushing myself to read more this year and reading up to 10 books throughout the year. Additionally, I will be uploading review posts for the books (hopefully spoiler-free) and maybe at the end of the year upload a ranking of the books and which ones I recommend, and how to approach them.
In this post, I want to announce the list of the ten books for 2022.
The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness
Monday's Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
Willa of the Wood by Robert Beatty
The President Is Missing by James Patterson and Bill Clinton
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
Revisiting Wonder by R.J Palacio
Ranma 1/2 Vol. 1 by Rumiko Takahashi
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus
~ NOTE: I want to also read in Spanish more. This list is subject to change if I end up finding a book written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez IN ITS ORIGINAL LANGUAGE. If you can help me find one or have information, please contact me.
Also, I promised myself I would write more. This year, I want to develop some starting ground for a story that I have in mind (which is loosely based on the central theme of book #1). Right now, the idea of the story merely exists, and I have not yet come up with grounded themes, titles, and sequences. However, I am thrilled to be in this process and share it with you. Wish me luck!
P.S. I will take any recommendations for both writing and reading. Hopefully, I can do more than ten books. Also, I hope I don't have to change the list, but I will announce it if I have to.
